What's that saying about life is what happens when you're busy making plans? Well, I had planned to write MUCH ADO ABOUT DUTTON and have it available by now. Life laughed at my plans.

Managing two careers, the Dain career and the Welch career, is like having two full time jobs. Who knew? I've spent the last year writing and revising, rewriting and editing, only to revise SORORITY SISTERS yet one more time. I am now, I hope, in my final phase of revisions. Until I finish SORORITY SISTERS and deliver it, pristine and glowing, into the hands of my Berkley editor, I can't focus on finishing MUCH ADO ABOUT DUTTON. No one is more upset by this delay than I am!

So many of you have contacted me, encouraging me with your eagerness for Dutton's story. I can't thank you enough! Please, be patient. I will finish MUCH ADO ABOUT DUTTON, but first I have to finish, once and for all, SORORITY SISTERS.
